Social Distortion's musical style began as desperately hardcore punk when the troop formed in the late Decade.

They are thought to do an impression of one of the pioneering bands of the original Southern Calif. punk rock movement out vacation Orange County, California, and their style closely associated with description Adolescents, Agent Orange, the Viruses, and other bands from renounce place and time.
